Who we are

BirchDane Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is an HR and Employment Law consultancy practice with offices in Wrexham, Nottingham and London. We are the data controller for personal information you provide to us through this website and during the course of our work for you.

What we collect

  • Contact details you submit through our forms, such as your name, email address, phone number and business name.
  • Information you provide in messages and during consultations.
  • Records required to deliver our HR and Employment Law services, including case-related documents where relevant.
  • Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit the site, such as anonymised analytics about pages viewed.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide the services you have engaged us for, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to improve the way our website works.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, performance of a contract for delivering services to clients, and legal obligation for regulatory record keeping.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not become a client engagement is kept for up to 12 months. Client records are retained for a minimum of 6 years after the end of the engagement.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share information only where necessary with trusted service providers under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights please email bridget@birchdane.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
